Welcome to Pet Urgent Response and Emergency (PURE)!
We’re excited that you’re considering joining our team! PURE was founded right here in 2022 and opened its doors to the public in May 2023. We’re a privately-owned emergency veterinary hospital in Jacksonville, led by Dr. Fernando Garcia-Pereira, a veterinary anesthesiologist with a passion for teaching and mentoring.
Dr. Garcia earned his DVM in Brazil and completed his internship and residency at Washington State University. With over 15 years of experience as a professor and service chief of anesthesia at Michigan State University and the University of Florida, he’s dedicated to sharing his knowledge with students, technicians, and fellow veterinarians.
